PopOvers | A Simple Breakfast

The dump method is usually a tell-tell sign of a recipe’s simplicity. All the ingredients are already in the cupboard. No fancy tin needed just use the cupcake pan. In twenty-five minutes breakfast is ready.

This recipe requires one bowl and very little clean up.

Popovers are that simple recipe for mama to execute at breakfast. There’s a small wait time but even the waiting is fun for Littles as we watch these mini Dutch pancakes rise to great heights as the bake.

No fancy popover tin needed. Just use your cupcake pan!

Popovers are a great breakfast because the children can add whatever they wish. Apple butter in autumn, strawberry jam in spring, or maple syrup in winter.

This week, I made two batches— plain and savory herb. If chives are added to the batter all you need is a little butter to enjoy with coffee.
